You’re probably here because you’ve heard all about the health benefits of grassfed beef. Or maybe it’s the sustainability or the humane animal care, or you want your beef to heal the earth instead of degrade it. But you’ve probably also heard that grassfed beef can by tough and dry. It’s true that you have to cook a grassfed steak with care, but these hamburgers? They’re about as easy-going as it gets. If you want rich, satisfying, meaty burgers that can go from package to plate with very little time or effort, you’re in the right place. All those other benefits are just icing on the cake!
not much to it: move them to the fridge the day before you want to
cook them, then simply heat up your stove or grill (the hotter, the
better), and put them on. These patties aren’t seasoned, so make
sure to sprinkle each side with a generous amount of salt and pepper
before or during cooking. (Steak seasoning is awesome, too.) When
they’re well browned on both sides, pull them off the heat and let them
rest for about three minutes before serving.
Raising good beef is an art, but it revolves around two very simple things: cows and grass. We’re always working to ensure our cows have plenty of good grazing, and other than that, we get out of the way! No shots, pills, or barns.
