Beef liver from grassfed cows.
1 lb.
Raw. Frozen. Keep frozen or refrigerated.
Swallowing
supplement pills and putting kale in everything is a good effort, but
when it comes to nutrition, nothing comes close to the superfood
power of grassfed beef liver. Adding
high quality organ meats to your family’s diet will do more to
nourish them than all the vitamin gummies and smoothie powders Amazon
wants to sell you.
Prepare beef liver by slicing into thin pieces, rinsing in white vinegar, then soaking in milk for at least twenty minutes (or overnight in the fridge). All that’s left is to cook gently in plenty of butter, season with salt and pepper, and serve with potatoes and gravy. Or try this recipe for classic liver and onions.
Raising good beef is an art, but it revolves around two very simple things: cows and grass. We’re always working to ensure our cows have plenty of good grazing, and other than that, we get out of the way! No shots, pills, or barns. When it’s time to harvest them, we send them to a local, state-inspected butcher for processing. For more information about our farm’s practices, check out Our Standards.
